Some examples of my work

In tackling a problematic floor, I mixed pigments, applying them to the original flooring, to give a generous and luxurious finish. Very cost effective, too! Bearing practicalities in mind all the time, I hard glazed the floor for resilience and easy cleaning.

The best solutions can sometimes be sitting right next to you! Scouting around a client's barn led me to find this renaissance treasure which blended perfectly with some 18th century door furnishings from a flea market. Because I have extremely qualified craftsmen on board, restoration of finds such as these are my forté.

The skills of a young artist in my team allowed me to supply copies of two superb Corot paintings to a client, adding perfect balance and a finishing touch to opposite doors in a town house.

Take one ugly, old brown console, lots of imagination and what do you get? Stripped and re-painted to match my client's interior, it's magically transformed into an attractive focal point for their hallway.

Whether you want to create a romantic or theatrical look, much can be achieved at relatively low cost by innovative use of fabrics. I can incorporate a soft furnishing style into your project whether it's to complete a look or as part of a total re-design.

I concentrate on sourcing the best elements, maximizing what is there already. Whether it's laying good local stone, focusing on the quality of the grouting or simply giving a dark brown ceiling a brighter colour, it can change the whole feel of your room.

Space is the essence. Converting a barn or a garage might be the solution, matching it to your existing building or make a stunning addition to your property.

Old buildings very often have one façade with little or no natural light. Careful thought and planning led me to open this tall and sober window, spreading a wonderful light into the hall. A modern solution which has not affected the character of this 17th century house.

It can be hard to think beyond the conventional but I adore working with innovative materials, surprising people with the effects that the most basic building materials can create. This cement floor with white marble powder finish is quite simply stunning.
